senor mas and i watched this movie that i had added to my netflix queue a couple of weeks ago because i liked the cover. i didn't pay any further attention to it than that.
turns out, it stars jemaine clement from flight of the conchords (whom i love!) and loren horsley and is the funniest, driest, romantic movie about awkward new zealand "loozahs". it's like a late 20's version of napolean dynamite with kiwi accents.
it features stop-animation, which i also love; track suits, and odd synth-casio keyboard music. the dialogue and cadence of it are hilarious.
delightful and sweet. surprisingly complex. check it out. it's one of my new favourites.
