as per usual, i am thinking about fall and winter and the adorable clothes i want for these aforementioned seasons. the jacket from yesterday is at the tippy-top of the list, as are, duh, frye boots. they are always on the list.
if you didn't know already, i'm a gilmore girls fan. the writers of the show were apparantly reading my brainwaves when they came up with some of the "gilmoreisms" that made the show so funny; but, aside from that, lorelai & rory always had the best fall/winter clothes because it was set in connecticut, which actually has those two seasons.
because having that show on in the background is a safe place for me, i watch it when i'm happy or i do marathons when i'm sad. yadda yadda yadda. well, i'm on season 6 again and it's fall on the shows that i'm watching. so, i'm feenin' for the season.
all of that to simply say, hey look at these pretty fall/winter clothes that i want and cannot afford...
outfit no. 1 that i would wear if i could justify spending that kind of dough on these groovy things:
1. these victoria's secret pants in blackberry +
2. this top from anthropologie +
3. these boots which cost more than my rent (from anthropologie) +
4. this gorgeous leather jacket (anthropologie)+
5. this fabulous winter white hat (free people) that i would add a ribbon or a brooch to.

Odd that you should pull up GG *now*, b/c a friend of mine at work popped in to say that his daughter nailed you as Lulu from the Girls from my FB page.
You on TV!
I loved their fall clothes, so, so much. However, I always wanted to pull off the Twin Peaks thing while in school (damn, not having a proper autumn)...which wow, explains a lot. Twin sets, inparticular.
What's Your Comfort Movie/Series? That's a good question.
I am beyond ready for autumn and winter. Fall is a cleansing time for me. Not to mention, that I have a fetish for coats and all warm weather clothes- long johns included.
Yes, our combined coat fetish could warm half of Siberia. That and my 71 quarts of shoes.
twin sets...twin peaks. that made me smile. i'm actually a little skerred that i am like lulu from the GG because it's probably true, and i don't want to date a "kirk"! but she does have a fantastique quirky style. in the fiddler on the roof episode (5th season) she had this righteous floral dress with a paisley (i think) cord blazer over it. to die for!
